A few words about me
My name is Beth Furnell and I have been a passionate baker for over 25 years. I hold diplomas in both professional patisserie (training under Ian Sutherland who made one of Prince Charles' and Lady Diana's wedding cakes) and professional cooking as well as an Honours Degree in Design from St. Martin's School of Art, London. Combining both creative skills and the ability to produce fantastic tasting cakes, I believe, gives me the edge. I have worked as a Food Technology teacher in a number of secondary schools in Lancashire, have catering experience, certificates in food hygiene and am registered with the environmental health agency.
